The project consists of a 6 acre site with 60,000+ s.f. of campus building area. The site is designed to accommodate over 1,000 students and park 300 cars. Placement and configuration of the buildings serves to minimize the facility’s impact on the natural environment. The final campus will include a public Welcoming Center and Technology Building, three secondary academies, one elementary academy, administrative/research facility, gymnasium, community park, and athletic field. The campus is fully integrated with a state-of-the-art technology and communication infrastructure. The Technology Building houses a digital television studio, amateur radio and editing suite, AQMD demonstration studio and laboratory, and a “Mission Control” Room which operates NASA’s 34 meter radio telescope project known as GAVRT.
