Parkview Elementary School Multipurpose Building Victor Elementary School District
This project grew out of the need to replace a “60’s” era multipurpose building that had long outgrown its useful lifespan. The existing facility, located in the heart of the campus, was scheduled for demolition during the winter school break to ensure student safety.
About Project
WLC was able to sequence construction activities to accommodate the needs of an operational school site and still complete construction within nine months. The scope of work included construction of a steel and masonry structure, incorporating a new multipurpose room, platform, full service kitchen, staff workroom and exhibit lobby. Support spaces such as storage, utility, staff and student restrooms were also provided. The school’s favorite color “purple” was incorporated throughout the facility with the accolades of the site staff.
