Ramona Elementary School Moreno Valley Unified School District

This project, one of WLC’s “prototype” elementary schools is comprised of 100% permanent construction and is based on the Towngate Elementary School for the Moreno Valley Unified School District.

About Project

Minor revisions were made so that the facility could function more efficiently and to reduce structural costs by up to $15.00/s.f. The school is a 50/50 State funded project where budget was a primary concern. The “prototype” is unique as it incorporates a cluster (or classroom pod) design, provides for covered walkways/entry and utilizes quality finish materials all under the State budget. The project was “fast-tracked” with substantial completion achieved in 11 ½ months. This is one of three prototype projects that WLC constructed simultaneously.
